Spring 2008 Update

Sorry for all the emails this month! Just wanted to remind you of the Art Show next Sunday and let you know we have confirmed the next scanning date. Lots of new developments to report but I will save them for a full report in the Summer newsletter.

Membership Renewals

Our membership runs from January 1st to December 31st 2008. Those who have renewed their membership, we thank you, for those who haven't please do so by sending a cheque made payable to the Trafalgar Township Historical Society ($25 for individuals & 35 for families) and mail to TTHS c/o Jane Watt, 3089 Jaguar Valley Drive, Apt. B2, Mississauga, Ontario L5A 2J1, thank you.

Sunday May 25th Artful Afternoon

From 2pm to 5pm at the Old Palermo Schoolhouse, 2431 Dundas Street West, Oakville (west of Third Line). We invite you and your friends to enjoy wine and cheese and light refreshments in this cozy historical school house. View the original artwork of Thelma Ledgerwood’s “Palette Pals” and Enter our free draw to win an original work by Thelma Ledgerwood.

Scanning Date & Membership Social

June 19th from 1-5pm

Please join us for tea/coffee and refreshments in the Auditorium of the Central Branch of the Oakville Public Library at 120 Navy Street. Bring Trafalgar Twp photos for our volunteers to scan. If you don't have photos then you are still welcome to join us to share the afternoon and reminisce!
