Description
Wilbert Henry Biggar was a hard working farmer with a renowned mixed farm. He was also Halton County Council Reeve, representing Trafalgar Township. His grandfather, Michael L. Bigger had been the Deputy Reeve - Oakville on the Halton County Council earlier in 1890-1891, and his father, Albert, had also held the responsible position of Reeve.

His grandfather, Michael, had first owned the property, Lot 15, Concession 2 NDS Trafalgar Township, running north from Burnhamthorpe Road on the east side of 6th Line. Acreage was added to expand this property as the family grew and another farm fronting on "the Dundas highway" was also purchased in later years.
