- Some time around 1926, this small white house was moved to Sixth Line just northwest of Dundas Street at 3060 Sixth Line. The men in the photograph were the house movers, from left to right is Fance Secord, James J. Hoey, N. McCann known as "Dynamite" McCann.
The handwritten note says the house was moved from lower down 6th Line in Oakville, from just north of the now Queen Elizabeth Highway.
The site was originally owned by Isaac Freeman. John Hoey, a former police detective lived in the house. - Inscriptions
