- “We moved to 3091 9th line in 1967 with Mom, Dad, and 5 other siblings. We had beef cattle, horses, pigs, chickens. I remember doing the chores before school, coming home, doing the barn chores, and going out to the fields. Over the years the fields became smaller with the Trans Canada Pipeline, then the 403 Highway. Now at 2005, I’ve still got the last known line of a horse we had as children. This farm was in full operation inntil 1999 when my Daddy. Mathias Egresits, passed away with cancer. I don’t know what the future holds, yet I do know that 3091 9th line will always hold a special place in my heart.”
