Stella Patterson Nicot was my great-grandmother. Immigrating to the United States, with her husband Alexander, they lived in Seneca Falls, NY, then Buffalo, NY owning a business and eventually Wellsville, NY owning another business there. Both of them died in Wellsville which is where I was raised. I was unaware of her child Marcel but the family had spoken of another child, Emile who died in childhood and then my grandfather Ralph. As the Nicot family is made of very few people and I know very little about it, I was extremely amazed to find this photo. I would love to hear from anyone regarding her early years and ancestry in Canada and also the summer inn she and my great-grandfather ran.
