- In 1895, Arthur George sold the family farm at the south part of Lot 6, Concession 1 NS with a farmhouse and orchard facing onto First Line, (now 1510 Bronte Road South, Milton) to his son Herbert.
On October 29, 1896, Herbert married Charlotte McCraney at St. Jude's church, Oakville, Ontario.
Herbert, his wife Charlotte, and their family carried on the farm. They also owned a quarter of Lot 6, Concession 2.
Herbert Heaven died on August 15, 1901. The Census Return (1911) records the widowed 44 year old Charlotte Heaven, 12 year old son Arthur and 77-year old lodger James McCrane (Charlotte's father) as still living on the farm but Charlotte sold the property in 1925. - Date Of Event
