- Arthur, his wife Jane (Stephens) and their six children emigrated from England sometime after 1879. In 1883, they bought the 100 acre farm on Lot 6, Con 1, Trafalgar New Survey (NS), (or 1510 Bronte Street South, Milton).
Upon retirement in 1895, the farm was sold to their son, Herbert, and Arthur and Jane moved south of the Lakeshore Road, on the west side of 4th Line (Lot 20, Con 3 SDS) just west of McCraney's Corners. - Subject(s)
