Charlotte A. Heaven (neé McCraney) with her son, Arthur James Gyde Heaven (3 1/2 years old) This photograph was taken on June 8, 1902.

In 1895, Arthur George Heaven sold the family farm at the south part of Lot 6, Concession 1 NS with a farmhouse and orchard facing onto First Line, (now 1510 Bronte Road South, Milton) to his son Herbert.

Charlotte and Herbert married on October 29, 1896.

Herbert, his wife Charlotte, and their family carried on the farm. They also owned a quarter of Lot 6, Concession 2.

Herbert Heaven died on August 15, 1901. The Census Return (1911) records the widowed 44 year old Charlotte Heaven, 12-year old son Arthur and 77-year old lodger James McCraney (Charlotte's father) as still living on the farm. Charlotte sold the property in 1925.
