- This railway station is equidistant between the village of Dannes and that of Camiers, in the Department of Pas de Calais, 14 miles south of Boulogne-sur-Mer, in Northern France.
During World War I the Canadian Army Medical Corps operated hospitals here: General Hospital No. 3 (McGill University) from June 1915 to January 1916; Stationary Hospital No. 8 (University of Saskatchewan) from Dec. 1917 to April 1918; and Stationary Hospital No. 7 (Dalhousie University) from September 1918 to February 1919. - Date of Original
