The session, which be- gins at 6 p.m., will provide residents with facts about urban coyotes, an- swer residents' ques- tions, and provide tips on how to respond to coyote sightings. The meeting will fea- ture Town staff, a repre- sentative from the Oak- ville & Milton Humane So- ciety and a representative from Coyote Watch Cana- da. Town staff point out that coyotes are found in every urban centre in North America and so see- ing one on a town road or sidewalk is not uncom- mon. They also said that while coyotes are not con- sidered a significant risk to people, there are steps that can be taken to avoid con- flicts with coyotes.
