Sue leaves her beloved and devoted life partner Ken Murray, Oakville, Ontario. She was the loving mother of Todd Lindstrom (Adrienne McHugh) Toronto, and Trish Lindstrom, Toronto; dedicated stepmother of Brad Murray (Cristin Sheridan) Waterloo, and Greg Murray (Samantha Trottier) Toronto. An energetic, fun loving grandmother to Avery, Gracie, Callum, Greyson and Maren. She will always live on in the hearts of her brothers and sisters: Neil Mustard, twin sister Shirley Turchet (Mario), Sharon Dyson, Sandy Kennelly (Jim), Charlotte Mustard and Charles Mustard. She will be missed dearly by her many nieces and nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews. Sue was a remarkable, well- remembered elementary/ special needs teacher for 35 years in Toronto, Orangeville, and York Region (William Armstrong, Wilshire P.S.); as well as an enthusiastic volunteer for 20 years at Ian Anderson House, Ontario's first in-residence hospice, where she was known as "Saturday Sue" and with the charity organization The Altruists of Oakville as a Board Member. An active athlete to the end, (Swimming, Badminton and Pickleball); a world-traveller; and an ever- present friend. Sue truly lived life to its fullest. Her favorite quotes: "Let me do it" and "Don't worry about me". Cremation has taken place. To comply with Ontario's COVID- 19 PROTOCOLS, there will be a private (invitation only) Celebration of Sue's life on November 20th. McLACHLAN, David April 23, 1938 - November 3, 2021 ------------------ In loving memory of Dave McLachlan, who passed away November 3, 2021 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at age 83. Dave was born April 23rd, 1938 in Sudbury as the first son of Percy and Blanche (née Campbell) McLachlan. After graduating from Michigan Tech, he married his Sudbury sweetheart; Marjorie Rose Williamson, a registered nurse and the love of Dave's life for 59 years. His greatest love was family. He was forever proud of Marge and their children; David (Kim), Barb (Derek) and Allison. He was dearly loved by his grandchildren, whom he gladly spoiled - Kelly & Abbey McLachlan, Ryan & Justin Tilly and Rowan & Wyatt Van Allen. Dave was the brother of Dennis (deceased) and wife Jeannie McLachlan, brother-in- law of Mike (deceased) and Pat Costigan, Robert & Marca Williamson and Dewar & Effie Williamson (both deceased). 'Uncle Dave' will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and family friends. Dave retired from the Ford Motor Company where he had made many lifelong friends and built a successful career in Labour Relations. Dave always loved a great game. Whether it was his enduring hockey career with Sudbury High School, Michigan Tech and of course, the Oakville Old Tommers, his long-time membership at the Oakville Golf Club, or his more recent passion for playing bridge; Dave loved to compete. An incredible husband, dad, grandad and friend; he filled our lives with love and laughter. As per Dave's wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, attended by family only.
