On October 12, 2020. Francesco leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Rita. Frank was loved and respected by his children Davide (Tina), Raymond (Sue) and Anna Zita (Anthony). He was the cherished grandfather to Franco, Anthony, Marco, Jesse, Shandy, Deanna, Brandon, Alessia and Philip, and great-grandfather to Jackson, Bruce, Jesse Jr., Divina and Marina. Born and raised in Naples, Italy, Francesco immigrated to Oakville in 1968. Francesco was the respected Zio to many nieces and nephews. Francesco was a long-time member of the Oakville Italian Club. He loved to spend time with his friends and family playing cards and telling stories. Nothing made Franceso happier than spending his days outdoors in the garden, tending to his vegetables. She was 81 years old. Brenda will be so dearly missed by her husband Len, her children Cheryl and David, her sister Ann and her nephew Ian and his family. She will also be missed by Len's children Dale, Patti and Len Jr., as well as Len's sister Sari and her husband Larry. POWELL, Glenn ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Glenn Powell, raised on a family farm in Paris, attended the Ontario Agricultural College before setting out on a distinguished career in radio journalism at the CBC. After his retirement, he continued writing for numerous organiz- ations and publications, and was made a Life Member of the Farm Writers' Association for his outstanding con- tributions to agricultural journalism. A resident of Oakville for nearly 50 years, Glenn gave so much back to his community, whether it was coaching hockey, Sundays as an alderman at Hopedale Presbyterian Church, or going door-to-door to fundraise for the Canadian Cancer Society. Glenn's volunteer roles were too many to enumerate, stretching across his interests in journalism, agriculture and the environment. Glenn passed away suddenly following heart surgery on September 29th. He will be forever in the hearts of his wife of 56 years, Steph, his children, Jacki and Jeff, and his grandchildren, Isla and Rafi.
