Officers said that the three women recently visited the Guardian/Palermo pharmacy at 2525 Old Bronte Rd. in the company of a child, described being as three or four years old. Police said that the women walked through the business for around ten minutes, placing various items into large bags they were carrying. Some of the products selected in- cluded the pain medications Robax, Ad- vil, Aspirin and Motrin. Other items taken included hairspray, hand cream and cotton swabs. Police said that while one individual distracted the employee at the cash reg- ister, the others escaped with the mer- chandise. The first woman is described as be- ing in her 30s, approximately five-foot- six, 220-pounds with purple-dyed hair. She wore a blue jacket, a purple loose T-shirt underneath and a grey loose skirt with blue shoes; she carried a large grey bag. The second suspect is described as being in her 20s, approximately five- foot-six, 140-pounds with dark hair. Shefoot-six, 140-pounds with dark hair. Shef wore a dark puffy waist-length jacket, black ankle-length skirt with a blue T- shirt underneath; she also carried a large bag. The third woman is described as be- ing in her 50s. A review was initiated to ensure the town's regulations address the needs of local businesses, while reflecting the town's objectives and unique character. Following public feedback, the sign by-law has been reviewed and there is now a draft by-law ready to present to Council.
