Alexander was an employee of Canadian National Telecommunications with a career spanning 43 years. Born and raised in St. John's, NFLD he moved with his family to Oakville in 1966 and made it home for 52 years. His passion was looking after his family and grandchildren, always being there to lend a hand, offer a word of encouragement or fix a problem. He will be remembered for his selfless attitude, his energy and kindness. He was so proud of the accomplishments of the family and was their biggest supporter. Helen was born in Bathurst, NB on May 13, 1929, the youngest of eight children to Walter Frederick Good and Jane Clara Good (Ellis). Her siblings Fred, Ernie, Dora Andersen, Mildred Lebans, Edna Veinot, George and Lois have predeceased her. She attended elementary and high school in Bathurst. She graduated from nursing in Fredericton as an RN in 1950. She practiced nursing for over 50 years. Helen married John Hosking in Bathurst in 1952. They moved to Pointe Claire, QC and had three children. In 1969 Helen and John moved to Oakville, ON. Helen and John joined St. Paul's United Church where she was a member for over 40 years. Helen also volunteered her time with several social service agencies in Oakville. Helen is survived by her children Everett Henry Hosking (Stephanie), Eric Glenn Hosking (Raymonde Aubin) and Elaine Lee Elenis (Tony), and grandchildren: Eve Pauze, Christopher Hosking, Andrew Elenis, Nathan Hosking, Adrien Hosking, John-Anthony Elenis, William Hosking and Elizabeth Hosking.
