The Walker House was a famous Hotel in Toronto in the late 1800s - 1900s. The hotel's tagline can be seen on the wall of the barn: "The House of Plenty", along with the logo, which can also be seen on the reverse. The Walker house was located on Front Street until it was demolished in the 1970s, and accommodated travelers coming into the city by the Grand Trunk Railway, which had opened a station nearby the same year the hotel opened.
The farm in Oakville supplied the hotel's kitchens. - Notes
