OAKVILLE M unn 's Creek Flood M itiga tion Opportunities Study Open House #1 M unicipal Class Environm ental Assessm ent Study Upper M idd le Road to M orrison-W edgew ood Diversion Channel Wednesday, April 11, 2018 6 to 8 p.m. Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Road South Atrium The Town of Oakville is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) to assess flood risks along Munn's Creek within the study limits shown. The focus of this study is to understand these risks and then establish approaches to mitigate them. So far, background information has been collected for the study area and used to carry out a detailed investigation of the flooding limits and flood-prone sites. These results to date, as well as preliminary ideas and alternatives being considered to mitigate flood risk, will be presented at the first of two open houses on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Town Hall, South Atrium. The open house is a drop-in format where staff and the town's consulting team will be present to discuss the study and answer any questions.
