Visions Canada is a 20-year pro­ gram set up by a longtime Halton teacher Catherine McMartin Before she died, McMartin left an endownment for a student awards program in Halton. Every April, teachers and principals from both the Halton Public and Halton Catholic District School Boards submit student projects about Canada of an artistic or academic nature to the pro­ gram. This year, fourteen of the twenty-six projects are from Oakville and have been selected for special recognition. Grades range from Kindergarten to O.A.C. The Halton Region Museum is fea­ turing a Visions Canada exhibit profil­ ing the award-winning projects. The exhibit runs from June 7th to Sept. 27th. The Museum's Exhibits Building is open during the summer from 12 noon to 5 p.m. daily, Victoria Day to Thanksgiving weekends.
