She was a long time resident of Oakvil le, and also worked and worshipped within the community. Ethel was an inspiration to family and friends with her thoughtfulness, dedication, generosity, and always putting others before herself. She will be deeply missed, and forever lovingly remembered, by family and friends in Canada and Wales. As a favourite Welsh poem says... "To be born Welsh is to be born privileged. Not w ith a silver spoon in your mouth, but with music in your blood and poetry in your soul." This was true of Ethel who had a beautiful caring soul, and she will be forever in our hearts. Ethel was laid to rest at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery, Oakville. A service was held at Glen Oaks on February 21, 2018, followed by interment. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario, in memory of Ethel would be appreciated by the family. He has joined his beloved baby brother, Colin. FANELLI, Pasqua Pasqua passed away peacefully at the Oakville Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the age of 93. She will be remembered w ith love and adoration by her children and their spouses Pasquale (wife Berenice), Franco (wife Susan) and Marisa, along with surviving brothers Giovanni and Carmen. Sadly missed by her four grand­ children Benjamin, Christopher, William, Laura, great-grandchild and her many nieces and nephews. Pasqua was predeceased by her beloved husband Vito Antonio and Bernhard. She fo u g h t her way through losing her husband early in her life, while still providing for three children. Olive spent the majority of her career at the Atomic Energy of Canada where she also enjoyed organizing social events especially dances. She and Albert enjoyed many happy years at their home in Port Charlotte Florida g o l f i n g , la w n b o w l in g and participating in all the events that made Maple Leaf Golf and Country Club their favourite winter retreat. Olive was competitive by nature and loved the challenge of a game of lawn bowling and enjoyed many happy times as a member of the Oakville Lawn and Bowling Club. She will be missed but not forgotten by her family and many friends. Cremation has taken place.
