F o r a fee the scanning centre would allow visitors to be scanned, recreated as a miniature figure and then added to one of the miniature cities. Visitors could also take their miniature selves home if they prefer. While the attraction would open with the six model cities, Brenninkmeijer emphasizes it would continue to grow after that with the hope that the whole country would eventually be captured by this miniature world. "This is not a hobby or a pet project. This can be a very successful long-term business," said Brenninkmeijer. "Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, they had 1.3 million visitors last year. They are the number one thing to do in Germany on tripadvisor." Brenninkmeijer said he is continuing to look for investors for his project, both large and small.
