The male cyclist was traveling on Trafalgar Road near Leighland Avenue when the collision involving a Mercedes traveling northbound Trafalgar occurred. The driver of the car remained on scene. The cyclist was assessed by Halton paramedics at the scene before being transported to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Two northbound lanes of Trafalgar Road at Leighland Avenue were closed for several hours as police investigated the collision, all lanes later were re-opened. Halton police' s collision reconstruction and forensic identification units investigated the collision scene.
