BLADES, Robert "Bob" Peacefully surrounded by family at Creekway Village on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the age of 90. Robert Frederick Francis Blades was born on May 5, 1926 in Whitburn, England. Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his wife Shirley of 62 years, and his children Barry Blades (Natalia), David Blades (Karla) and Douglas Blades (Amy). Papa will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Briana, Trevor, Kylie, Hanna, Courtney and Laurel. Survived by his sister, Doris Gallimore (John) of England. COSTRON, Richard George Rick passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 22, 2017 surrounded by his family at the young age of 66. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 40 years, Karen (Verdon) and their adoring children Derek and Laura (Mike). Son of George and Eileen Costron (both deceased) and brother of Theresa (Doug). Loved dearly by many close family, nieces and nephews. Treasured by close colleagues and friends, alike. He was born January 10, 1951 in Toronto and grew up in the Long Branch/New Toronto area where he found a love for the sport of lacrosse. He had a lifelong successful career in 3rd party logistics with Livingston, UPS and retired as Senior Director at DB Schenker. A celebration of life service will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home at 3164 Ninth Line in Oakville on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Grace will be greatly missed by son Wayne Claus (Karen), daughters Donna Patrino (Rick) and Sharon Norris (John), brother Donald Menzies, Sandra Claus and her 5 grandchildren Troy, Krista, Bradly, Clark and Hailey and 5 great-grandchildren.
