Peace Summit The O akville Baha'i com m unity hosts a special devotional gathering on Monday to celebrate the U.N. World Peace Summit in New York. The event takes place at 8 p.m. at Le Dome's Caterina Room, located at 1173 North Service Rd. East. Everyone is welcome. Monday marks the day that one thousand spiritual leaders from around the world gather to participate in the historic summit. They hope to identify ways that worldwide religious and spir itual communities can work together as inter-faith allies with the United Nations on pressing human issues. "This gathering of the world's pre eminent religious and spiritual leaders in a united call for peace will hopefully strengthen the prospect for peace in the new millennium," said U.N. SecretaryGeneral Kofi Annan, who will address the gathering on Tuesday.
