Blakelock High School, the Region's Health Department is stressing the importance of aware ness regarding, this highly conta gious disease. TB, which can be transmitted through the air, usually attacks the lungs and less frequently affects the kidneys, brain, or spine. While not highly infectious, it must be treated immediately. A person afflicted with TB may have sym ptom s such as coughing, fever, night sweats, loss of appetite, weight loss, and a general feeling of weakness.
