According to organization team member Hayley Ma, Ridge Hacks was Local Hack Day that ran 9 a.m.-9 p.m. The event was planned by students at Iroquois Ridge and Major League Hacking (MLH). Ma said hackathons are extremely popular and more than 60 schools around the world will also be hosting their own hackathons to help create the "largest day of hacking ever."
