On November 14, 2016, Council passed By-law 2016 109, a by-law to re-divide, a lter and increase the num ber o f wards in the Town o f Oakville. This by-law increases Oakville's ward boundaries from six to seven, w ith adjustments to be made to all existing w ard boundaries, except W ard 3. The new W ard 7 captures neighbourhoods north o f Dundas Street w ith B urlington as the boundary to the west, and Eighth Line as th e boundary to th e east.
