Ester Hansen at the Energy Action Group booth was one of many organi zations present at the Halton Eco Festival promoting different ways to reduce waste and improve energy effi ciency. "We are a group of people trying to make the public aware of viable energy sources," said Hansen. "There are dif ferent resources available, such as solar water heating, that are eco-friendly." This environmental fair hosted 16 different workshops to educate individ uals on different eco-friendly products. "It' s important fpr people to know they can make a difference," saifl Dankowich. "This event helps people learn how to change their daily prac tices, things that we can all do, which "N will make a big difference for the envi ronment if we all start doing these things together." Ian Heino visited the festival with his two young daughters and son on Sunday afternoon. "This event was excellent,'" said Heino. "There is a lot of information to take home, read and learn."
