Barbara Hambly died in her 93rd year after a lengthy illness on August 27, 2016 in London, Ontario, by any measure completing a happy and well lived life. Barbara was born May 13, 1924 in Toronto, Ontario to Herbert & Clara Attack. In 1945 she married Kenneth P. Hambly (d. 1997) and together they raised their three children throughout Southern Ontario locating to Oakville in 1970. In 2008 she then moved to London. Loving mother to daughter Kathryn (Murray) Awde and sons Peter (Beverly) Hambly and Ian (Tricia) Hambly. Fond grandmother of Heather (Jeremy) Mighton, Graeme Awde, Colleen (Scott) Coghlin, and Tracy (Bryan) Fradgley. Also leaves seven greatgrandchildren, five nephews, and a niece. Predeceased by her brother Harry Attack and survived by her sister Dorothy Black. Barbara was a lifelong member of the Anglican Church of Canada and a Beta Sigma Phi sorority sister for over 60 years. She enjoyed bridge, gardening, golf, and travelling; connecting with friends and relatives throughout the years. He was a resident of Oakville, ON for the past 28 years. John was predeceased by his parents John and Mina Vick, his wife Bessie Vick the mother of his six children; and also predeceased by his son, Steve Utter. He is survived by his wife Gail Patricia Vick, his sons: Brian (Vicki) and Jack (Teresa), his daughters: Debbie, Merry, Darlene, and Julie. John was a professional wrestler with the WWF during his early adult years. John worked for Foresters Financial as an insurance agent and financial advisor for more than 20 years. John was a veteran of the United States Military. He served in both the Navy and the Air Force for seven years. John was a lifetime member of the VFW. John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His loving family will miss him dearly. His Ashes will be interred at the Bay Pines National Cemetery, in St. Petersburg, Florida and the Glen Oaks Memorial Cemetery in Oakville, ON.
