The sporting event will take place at the Glen Abbey Golf Club from July 18-24. The impact on traffic begins Saturday, July 16 with the northbound curb lane of Dorval Drive closed from Leewood Drive to Monastery Drive starting at 5 a.m., and running until the end of the games. This closure will accommodate a 5-km run taking place at the site July 16 and shuttles and vehicle traffic to and from the site after that date. The northbound lanes of Dorval Drive from North Service Road to Old Abbey Lane will be completely closed from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 24. This closure is intended to ensure pedestrian safety during the event's conclusion. There will be a signed detour route along Nottinghill Gate northbound to Upper Middle Road. The eastbound curb lane of Upper Middle Road will also be closed from Dorval Drive to the Smith Triller Bridge from Monday, July 18 to Sunday, July 24. The closure will accommodate shuttle bus drop off and pick up for event volunteers.
