Majestically soaring 16 feet above the ice surface, the `computer' stretched the 95 foot width of the arena with its mon itor, printer and 26 foot long keyboard. Spectators were invited to `surf the net' and were enthralled with the cre ative array of costumed characters which spilled out from `inside' the wooden technological wonder. There were lions and elephants, but terflies and bumblebees, shuttle pilots, alien life forms, Y2K bugs, tiny Barbara Ann Scotts and leather-clad Fonzie clones.
