Joshua Creek Studio Spring Show extended The Joshua Creek Studio's 35th annual Spring Show has been extended to July 17. Each year, the students of the local art studio share their creations at the exhibit, which this year features watercolour printmaking. The art form is an invention of Sybil Rampen, the founder of the Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre, and is taught at the studio. "... Refined by the artists of Joshua Creek Studio, (it) is a medium like no other," stated a media release. "We invent, explore and experiment with wet colour on a rigid surface." The process starts out by rolling the plate through a press and printing the images. "The ensuing masterpieces evolve and become treasured pieces of art. Artists of all ages and stages bring their talents to share in the magical experience," the release stated. "Come and see the extraordinary art created in this inviting and inspiring place."
