The announcement was made last Thursday (June 2) at Taste Marketeria, a recent addition to the Catch Hospitality group, for the annual arts and cultural events series that runs Thursdays from May-September. "The Bronte BIA is proud to have this event associated with Catch Hospitality, a BIA member company that started with The Firehall Cool Bar Hot Grill in 2000," said Ann Sargent, Bronte BIA executive director. "Catch Hospitality is extremely invested in the economic health of Bronte Village, with six fine establishments making it also Bronte's largest employer." An evening of arts and culture Held in Bronte Village and inspired by Hamilton's Art Crawl, The Lake Walk runs from 5-9 p.m. and features an evening of art, food, music, and culture as well as special promotions and activities from the participating Bronte area businesses and the Oakville Arts Council. Approximately 40 Bronte BIA businesses participated in the June 2 Lake Walk, which followed the corporate sponsor announcement. Taste Marketeria offered appetizer samples, a barbecue, ice cream carts and a social media contest.
