Of cers say reports from other jurisdictions indicate drug dealers are marketing the highly-addictive painkiller and synthetic opioid as Fentanyl or fake OxyCotin. In reality, police say, W 18 is far more dangerous. They noted, taken incorrectly, a single dose of Fentanyl can be deadly, but W 18, being 100 times more potent, increases the chance of a person overdosing, and dying as a result, exponentially. The Halton police Integrated Drugs, Guns and Gangs Unit (IDGGU) has been and will continue to monitor this trend closely, but says it has yet to come across W 18 in the region. The highly-addictive painkiller Fentanyl has made an appearance in Halton, however. In 2015, two men were arrested and charged with possession of Fentanyl see Drug on p.3 March Break activities kicked off this week in Oakville, including a Mad Science event at the Oakville Library's Glen Abbey Branch Monday. Minister of Labour and Oakville MPP Kevin Flynn visited Sheridan College Tuesday to of cially unveil the modernized Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP). As announced in the 2016 Provincial budget, the government will create a single, targeted, non-repayable grant -- the Ontario Student Grant -- starting in the 2017-18 school year. Flynn said the move is intended to end a situation where only 22 per cent of high school graduates from low-income families in Ontario pursue post-secondary education. This is contrasted with the 77 per cent of high school graduates from high-income families who seek higher education in the province, he added. "Quite simply the odds of you attending a college or a university decrease very sharply in this province if your parents make less money than average and we know that is not right. That is not what we are about in the Province of Ontario. I think we have a reputation as a just and equitable province and one where we try to build each other up and help each other out when we need it the most," said Flynn. see Changes on p.4 Optimize Performance (Adults and Children) · Attention span is short · Difficulty organizing & completing work · also helpful for Asperger's · also Psycho-educational testing ADD Centre High quality wood & vinyl shutters Neurofeedback and learning strategies can provide a lasting improvement.
