On their first official date, Jason took Tracy, a cycling neophyte, into Toronto to buy her a bike. That was followed by their first bike ride together at Hilton Falls, north of Milton. Nearly two years later, Jason proposed to her while riding their bikes at Hilton Falls. Tracy enthusiastically fell in line with the cycling theme in their relation ship. As a combination wedding and law school graduation present, Tracy gave her husband a brand new road bike. Tracy and Jason Vincze interviewed by Outdoor Life Network. Earlier this month, while many young married couples were relaxing at the cottage or in their back yards, Tracy, 32, and Jason, 30, rode their mountain bikes up and down the Niagara Escarpment at the Kelso Conservation Area for 24 hours. The couple was among the solo rid ers competing in the grueling Kokanee 24-hours of Adrenalin mountain bike race. The rules of the race are simple. For 24 hours, from noon Saturday to noon Sunday, the racers see who can com plete the most laps on the 17.5-km mountain bike course. RIGHT PHOTO: Joel Gaboury from West Oak Electric works on a light fixture. Dome expected to be back up today The Air Athletics dome is expected to be back up by today (Wednesday) after being hit by Sunday's severe weather. A wind gust literally caused a seam to tear at the very top of the structure about 3 p.m., Sunday, said Air Athletics general manager Cam Stuart. When the tear started growing with further wind gusts, the half dozen golfers who were braving the hot and humid weather inside at the time were promptly ushered out of the indoor range. The dome was then brought down in a controlled fashion. Stuart explained that once you have a tear that cannot easily be reached or is too big to repair with the dome inflated then it has to be deflated, which they did. But he stressed that it was a controlled take down with people ushered out and all the light fixtures and sharp objects inside the dome cov ered up to prevent them from damaging the deflating fabric. Bringing it safely down, he said, is a bit of an art, with the air pressure gradually reduced by shutting off the air units and opening the exterior doors. With all other facilities unaffected, besides the cavernous golf dome, Air Athletics remained open, including the summer camp. Stuart said it takes about two hours to inflate the dome which must be done in calm weather, so he was keeping his eye on Tuesday's unsettled weather before giving the green light. cnnHDmn OUNDAS & \ TRAFALGAR ROAD' 400 Dundas St. E.
