She will be one of the torchbearers who bring the flame into Spencer Smith Park. Kuiperij will carry the torch through downtown Burlington. Oakville has the Pan Am torch on Day 24 of its journey, Tuesday, June 23. The torch relay route begins at Dorval Drive and Lakeshore Road and continues east to Centennial Square. Members of TOWARF , the Town of Oakville Water Air Rescue Force will bear the torch among 25-30 others, before Lynn Petruskavich, Jon Kuiperij Oakville's community torchbearer, carries it into Centennial Square around 4:45 p.m. The public celebration at Centennial Square, at Navy Street and Lakeshore Road, is from 4-5:30 p.m. There will be a performance by Canadian Aboriginal musician Susan Aglukark, free sports and cultural activities, and a Road to the Podium public art chalk mural.
