Held at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts (OCPA), the Dance to the Music! production will feature dancers aged three to 80 and older who will showcase their love of music and dance. "Join them for this wonderful evening of movement that will entertain all ages," said Heidi Knapp, Grace Academy director. The local dance and performing arts program has been in Oakville for 12 years, teaching participants in classical ballet, modern dance, jazz, hip-hop, tap, musical theatre and acting. "(We) strive to teach the students to be active and caring members of the community too," said Knapp. "This year, they have held instudio fundraisers for the CIBC Run for the Cure, the Salvation Army Toys for Tots, The Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, HopeTotes, and the Wellspring Cancer Support Centre." Performances for the upcoming show run from May 27-30 at 7 p.m. at the 130 Navy St. art centre. An additional 1 p.m. matinée performance is scheduled for Saturday, May 30.
