A postcard sent to Reverend R.B. Layton in New Aberdeen, Cape Breton, mailed from Debert Station, Nova Scotia. Built in 1854, this kirk burned in 1913. Today it is the site of First United Church.
Inscriptions
Reverse side reads:
"Received your postcard, thank you for remembering the 'kid'? What next? if by that you mean what I am going to do next year. I am to be the dutiful daughter and stay at home. Is that what you meant?
