Tim leaves behind the joys of his life, his two children, Brendan and Kyra. Pre-deceased by his father Dr. Gerald B. Maher, he will be deeply missed by his mother Ruth Maher, older brothers Peter (Leslie), Chris (Ann) and Eric (Theresa), as well as nephews Edward and Gavin, nieces Jennifer, Caitlin, Monica, Paulina and Julia and his many cousins from the Freckleton clan. Tim's loss is also mourned by his partner Patty Allison and her family. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to her for her devotion to and unwavering support of Tim during the difficult last several months. Our loss is shared by Norene and the Hillsdon family. We thank them for their ongoing support. We also acknowledge the kindness exhibited by Tim's colleagues at Infogroup, his long term employer. Tim was never very far from the hockey rink either as a player of note or as an active parent coaching the Oakville Hornets and Mississauga Chiefs Hockey Clubs and supporting the hockey endeavours of his two children.
