The dealership's new president and general manager Frank Apa, who headed Oakville Toyota since 1991 is absolutely thrilled at the success of the dealership so far. "In our first nine months of business we exceeded all the goals set out for us," said Apa, noting the goals revolve around sales and customer satisfaction. The bold, new concept dealership opened to the public last November. A dozen vehicles were ordered before the dealership even opened its doors. "We thank all of our guests for helping us meet and exceed our sales targets. And to continue to satisfy them we've added a luxury pre-owned department. We strive for 100 per cent guest satisfaction," says Everold Reid, General Sales Manager. The service department is state-of-theart; its parts department is efficiently organized; the handpicked staff are all experienced and knowledgeable. The seven-bay service facility has plenty of upto-date equipment, including air-conditioning. Equipment includes a special machine to change run-flat tires and an upscale balancer that simulates wheel load. And every vehicle is hand-washed. It was little more than a decade ago that the first Lexus rolled off the assembly line. It was an unexpected success story, accord ing to Lexus of Oakville's service manager Denis Therrien.
