Put the raisins away and hand out `get active' swim/skate passes instead! For the month of October, the town is selling swim/skate passes for the reduced price of $5 for 10 tickets (50 cents per swim or skate) to encourage Oakville's little ghosts and goblins to have fun while exercising. `Get Active' Halloween passes are available for purchase at town pools, community centres or Town Hall and are redeemable from November 1 to December 31, 2014 for children/youth aged two to 14 years. If you are 65+ or have a physical disability or medical condition, you may be eligible for the Town of Oakville's driveway snow windrow clearing program. Our winter service will clear the snow pile left at the end of your driveway after the road has been plowed.
