The host team's balanced attack was on display in the championship game as Oakville got goals from ve different players. Vienna Mosler-Plata, Claire Prentice, Carley Clugston, Abbey Whitworth and Hanna Perrier each scored against Barrie as Oakville claimed the gold. The Hornets went 2-1 in round-robin play, blanking Aurora 8-0 and downing London 6-2 before being edged by Sudbury 1-0. Aldridge had both Hornets goals in the sem nal win as Oakville squeaked by Clarington and the Hornets defence shut down Barrie in the nal.
