He joined his beloved wife Margaret 3 months and 3 days after her passing. Raymond fell peacefully asleep at home with his family by his side. Captain Raymond Collins held a Master's in Education. His passion was for teaching all children especially those with learning disabilities. He was an active member in the church and with the army cadets. In their retirement, Raymond and Margaret traveled, volunteered and embraced their time together, and with family. Raymond and Margaret would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on August 6th, 2013. Raymond leaves behind his adoring daughter, Janice, son-in-law Fred Breen, and son Brian. He was a proud grandfather to Doug, Jody and Jake Breen and great grandpa to Sawyer Breen and Audrey Smith. A memorial Eucharist will be held at St. Elizabeth Anglican Church in Burlington on October 24 at 6:45 pm. The interment will be held at the Fonthill Cemetery at a later date. We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations in Raymond Collins' name be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or to St. Elizabeth Anglican Church, Burlington. Beloved wife and best friend (70 years) of the late Edgar Caudle (July, 2009). Loving mother of Charlie (Penny), Ruth Myers (Chuck), John (Gerrie), Lynda Nicholson (Ron) and Kim Lapp (Lindsay). Tena was cherished by her 10 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Francis Rouse and siblings; Eliza, Earn, Ed, Dave, Gordon and Margaret. She will be dearly missed by her older sister Lottie. Tena was born and raised in Cape Chin and Lion's Head before moving to Toronto then Oakville/ Burlington. With a gentle nature and heart of gold, she touched many through her years of devotion to family, friends and church. Cremation has taken place. PADE, Bruno Ernst On Monday, October 21, 2013, Bruno Pade, age 84, passed away. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erna. He was a long-time member of the former Oakville German-Canadian Club whose hobbies included fishing, gardening and wine making.
