It has become an essential service for many families. The program gives parents in need peace of mind as well as financial help by providing a free, safe environment for their children during the afterschool hours. The program provides literacy and numeracy training to help the kids improve their school grades. Every day the kids are fed a nutritious snack to help fuel their learning and development. They are also kept physically active through a variety of fun & challenging games and activities. Currently the program is full with 30 students ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Another significant means of sharing the KSM story and drawing in much needed support is through Special Events. Thanks to all who took part in our Dream Centre 5K Run and MIT Mayor's Invitational Softball Tournament. Coming up on Saturday November 9th, 2013 is our First Annual Christmas Craft Show. We are currently looking for one-of-akind vendors to participate. And with the fall upon us, we look forward to the return of our Christmas Wonders and Beyond program, providing gift cards and food boxes to families in need.
