Now, as she lies dying in a bed at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Eli and Jodie Gilbert are trying their best to honour their former employee's Maricon Ala Gerante wishes. The Gilberts are bringing Maricon's children to her bedside before she dies and establishing a trust fund to continue the support their mom has always provided -- even from afar.
