Stewart, Frank (Resident of Barrie, formerly of Oakville, Ontario) Peacefully with his daughter by his side at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie on Thursday morning, January 10, 2013 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Carol Stewart (nee Kitchen) and the late Pat Stewart (Gardner). Loving father of Margaret Ann (Maggie) of Haliburton and Sean (Sylvia) of Burlington. Stepfather to Donna (John) and Jay (Diana). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Shane, Taylor, Amy, Carson, Cole and Reid. Dear brother of Alice. Predeceased by his granddaughter Courtney and his brother George and sister Ella. Also lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Frank was a veteran of the WW 11 and served in the Navy. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, travelling, nature and his family. The family wishes to acknowledge Arlene McNabb for her dedication and love shown to Frank, Carol and the family during the past number of years. Friends are invited to call at St. John's United Church, 262 Randall St. Oakville, Ontario on Wednesday afternoon, January 23, 2013, from 1 o'clock until time of the Memorial Service at 2 o'clock. As expressions of sympathy donations to Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated by the family.
