She was born in Naples, Italy to parents Vincenzo and Antonietta Ferriero, and shortly thereafter moved to Canada. She grew up in Woodstock, Ontario with her brothers and sisters, Frank, John, Flora, and Delfina. She then married and raised her family living i n B r a n t f o r d , O n t a r i o , C a l g a r y, A l b e r t a , M a r t i n s v i l l e , Vi r g i n i a , Beaconsfield, Quebec, and finally her home in Oakville, Ontario. Throughout her life, she did everything to make our lives happy and fulfilled. She lived her life to make ours better, and our many accomplishments are a testament to her sacrifices and success. In recent years, her courage and determination to survive cancer defied medical experts. Despite being told it was not possible, she lived to dance with her four year old grandson, Liam White, and hold her second grandson, Hudson White, who was born on Mother's Day this y e a r. H e r i n c r e d i b l e s t o r y w i l l always be remembered. It will remind us to never give up and cherish every precious moment. She will be deeply missed by her loving son, William (Bill) Ford, who was by her side every day, and her son-inlaw and daughter, Leigh and Lisa White, and grandchildren, Liam and Hudson White, and her brothers and sisters. Her funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. this Thursday, November 15, at St. John Roman Catholic Church, 2016 Blairholm Avenue, Burlington, Ontario. CONRAD, Courtney Born in Nova Scotia August 18, 1935, passed away peacefully with family by his side November 10, 2012 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. A long time employee at the Clarkson oil refinery, he made many life long friends. Courtney leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years Barbara, daughter Wendy (Gord), son Waide (Jennifer), grandchildren Jennifer, Sean and Hailey, and his brother Murray and sister Greta. Thanks to Dr. Benjamin and all the staff at Ian Anderson House for the wonderful care and compassion they showed throughout this difficult journey.
