HEIBERG, Joan Elizabeth (nee McCleary) Passed away at Milton District Hospital on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 88 years of age. She was the adoring and adored wife of the late Ti m F r i d t h j o f H e i b e r g . L o v i n g mother of Kathinca (Robin) Cameron and Janikke Heiberg and extraordinary MooMoo to Jesse and Sofie. She is survived by her sister Margaret Buchanan Morgan and her special sister-in-law Helen Storm. Predeceased by her sisters Mary Te e t e r A l l i s o n a n d P a t r i c i a Heatherington O'Connor. During her life, Joan was a highly regarded and favored teacher at White Oaks Secondary School and Malvern Collegiate, an adored and inspiring physiotherapist at Lyndhurst Lodge, an artist, a dedicated dictionary reader and the Queen of Crosswords. She had a razor-sharp wit, an infectious sense of humor and was a valued friend to those of all ages and all walks of life. She saw the best in everyone, always found time for friends and family and was ever-present with supportive and encouraging words. She will be fondly remembered by all who were lucky enough to cross her path. A celebration will be held o n F r i d a y, N o v e m b e r 2 , 2 0 1 2 , between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. at the Best Western Hotel located at 161 Chisholm Dr, Milton, ON L9T 4A6 (905) 875-3818.
