OKUMURA, John Hisashi Suddenly passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012 in his 82nd year. John, beloved husband of Marie for 53 years. Loving father of Janice (Patrick) Roberson, Lisa (Andrew) King and Gayle (Christopher) Petrovski. Proud grandfather of Trisha, Erik, Jeffrey, Spencer and Abby. Dear brother of Mitsuru (Esther) Okumura. He was an active member of the Burlington Sculptors and Woodcarvers Guild. Visitation will be held at the Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville on Wednesday 2-4pm 7-9pm. A Celebration of John's Life will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 in the chapel at 1:00pm with an hour visitation prior at 12noon. Cremation has taken Place. On-Line condolences and memories may be shared at www.glenoaks.ca.
