SHIELDS, Joanie My darling Joanie left us on S a t u r d a y, O c t o b e r 6 t h 2 0 1 2 , peacefully in her sleep, just the way we had frequently talked about. She leaves behind her son David (Oakville), daughter Wendy (Halifax), joins her son Darrell (deceased),and also leaves numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves one sister Jean in Truro. We love her, none more and none less than I, her husband Ted Shields. Joanie was from Truro, Nova Scotia. Cremation has taken place, and donations may be made to the Salvation Army, if desired.
