Trish Peden Chair Oakville Family Ribfest 2012 Getting to Ribfest The Ribfest ­ at Oakville's Sheridan College on the West side of Trafalgar Rd., roughly midway between the Q.E.W and Dundas St. ­ is centrally located and easy to reach. Buses Oakville Transit runs at regular intervals from the Oakville GO Station/bus terminal at Trafalgar Road and Cross Avenue ($2.00 fare). Route 1 goes to and from Sheridan College. There is a FREE shuttle from the Lyons Lane (west end) of the Go Station parking lot on Friday from 8 pm and during Ribfest hours Saturday & Sunday. Look for the Attridge Buses. Ride your bike For a small fee, just like a coat check, you can safely leave your bike in a secure, fenced area. Bikes are not allowed beyond the Bike Parking area. Free Ribfest Parking Sheridan College has parking for 700 vehicles, including parking spots for people with disabilities. Additional parking available at Oakville Municipal Building, just south of Sheridan and north of Oakville GO on Cross Avenue. Pets No pets are allowed in the Ribfest area. Guide dogs welcome.
