Dangerous driving injures woman, nearly runs down officer Halton police are reminding drivers to observe the rules of the road following a day of dangerous driving in Oakville, which resulted in a woman being injured and nearly resulted in the serious injury of a police officer. On Saturday, Jan. 14, at about 10:45 p.m., police said, a 38-year-old female driver was involved in a traffic accident at Dundas Street and Eighth Line after she allegedly drove through a red light, lost control of her car and struck the traffic light standard, which was sheared off. The woman was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
